Phil Mickelson, No Win In 2016

Phil Mickelson delighted his fans with his good game in various tournaments happened this year but went empty hand.

This is the third year that goes straight without a single win for Mickelson. This is his consecutively third year in which there is no victory in the PGA tour.    

In the final PGA tour Safeway Open that happened recently, Phil Mickelson finished in 10th position. His performance in entire tournament was extremely good and fans were expecting something from Phil this time. Even the Tiger Woods, who didn’t PGA for last fourteen month has a good win in events.

Talking about his feeling about his good game, but no win, Mickelson said “I am happy with my performances. In compare to my last year’s game, 2016 has brought things for me and I am really happy to see it. At the same time, I am gutted that I had no even after playing a good game.”

Mickelson Takes Three Weeks Tour Break

Phil Mickelson is aware that he still has it in him to compete in the majors.

The PGA Championship in New Jersey did not turn out to be a golfing experience that Phil needs to remember. But, the ace golfer left Baltusrol knowing that his game is good and with a little bit of drawing board meetings he could get back to his golfing best. He is very excited about the prospect of playing the in the forthcoming FedEx cup playoffs and the Ryder Cup. He will be representing the United States in these two events for the 11th time and these calls for huge celebration.

The 46 year old is looking to take a break of about three weeks after competing in two majors in 21 days. He will be of course returning to tee up at his favorite spot, the Bethpage Black, at the Barclays. Mickelson said that he is looking forward to playing in the four playoff events and Ryder Cup. He wants to show his golfing prowess and to let everyone know that he is still at his competing best.

Jason Day draws Ernie Els and Matt Kuchar at Masters

Jason Day, the world number one, would start his Masters pursuit grouped with 4 time major champ Ernie Els as well as US Matt Kuchar over the first 2 rounds at the Augusta National.

Jason would go off at 3:06 am, on Friday, as he looks to win a 2nd successive major, a 3rd event in a row and a 7th victory in fourteen starts.

Steven Bowditch has the accolade of being in the 1st competitory group on the course behind unearned beginners Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer. Bowditch begins his 2nd Masters at 10:20 pm, on Thursday, with US’ Jim Herman, who won in Houston previous week to get the very last invitation.

Adam Scott, the former Masters champ, goes out on Friday at 1:05 am, with United States duo Brooks Koepka and Kevin Kisner. Marc Leishman makes his come back to the Masters in a bunch with Swede Henrik Stenson and 3 time Masters winner Phil Mickelson.

Cameron Smith would have his debut at Masters away at 1:16 am, with ex champ Mike Weir and amateur player Sammy Schmitz. Jordan Spieth, the defending champ, goes out at 11:48 pm (Thursday) along with golfer Paul Casey and amateur player Bryson DeChambeau.

ory McIlroy, the world number three is in the last time of the day at around 4:01 am (Friday) as he goes after the career grand slam along with Bill Haas and Martin Kaymer.

Mickelson Pulls Back From World Golf Championship

Bad news for Mickelson’s fans- the great golfer has confirmed not to participate at the prestigious Cadillac World Golf Championship Match Play.

Caddie Jim confirmed the previous week that Phil was quite stirred up regarding the tournament and hence the player’s latest decision to withdraw has left many flummoxed and disappointed- it’s always a treat to watch Mickelson in action.

Mickelson, too, sounded very disappointed about his withdrawal from the WGC event, something that he was so passionate about. He has usually missed out on match-play event from 2011 as the dates clashed with his kids’ school breaks. Besides, he did not like the erstwhile backdrop Dove Mountain. But as 2015 made a change to both these factors, Phil was really eager to play this time.

“I am really glad with the latest format & TPC Harding Park seems to be a fantastic backdrop for the match play. Thus, it is really very unfortunate that I would not be capable to play this great event this year”, remarked a disappointed Mickelson.

Phil Mickelson leaves the most wanted golfing humble bluster ever

Lefty has got ninety nine problems but a green jacket is not the one. Phil Mickelson loves to have one of his loved green colored blazers on him during a round of golf, in case it becomes cold. As per the 3 time Masters winner, he enjoys in showing up to corporate programs with a green jacket in tow.

On Tuesday, while speaking to the reporters ahead of the Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club, Phil told that if it was chilly in the morning, he would pull this out. He would not carry 3 around with him, but he would say that he has got two more if one is.

But, Phil admitted that he has got to be careful whom he brags in front of. Then he joked that some people just could not take it, they just could not.

Phil is all set to tee off on Thursday morning along with Rory McIlroy for the 1st round of the Masters Tournament 2015 in Augusta, Georgia.
